Originally developed for EDC (Everyday Carry) users and outdoor enthusiasts who like to hike light, the 822 telescope has also attracted a segment of enthusiasts who favor small-sized devices. Although the 822 cannot match those larger products in absolute optical parameters such as field of view and exit pupil diameter, it does the best it can in terms of size, making it almost one of the smallest and most effective 20mm aperture monoculars in the world. Its sharpness and relative brightness are among the best in the class of devices of the same aperture, even far surpassing Zeiss products of the same aperture.
In addition, we found that the 822 also performs very well when used as an external camera shooter for cell phones, so accessories such as a photo sleeve have been added specifically to meet the needs of cell phone photography enthusiasts. As the original intention is to serve outdoor extreme users and EDC users, the structure design of 822 is relatively complex, difficult to assemble and costly.
